01 Overview
Halal Pizza Fun is a modern full-stack online food ordering and restaurant management platform designed to provide customers with a seamless and convenient pizza ordering experience. The platform allows users to explore the menu, view detailed product information, customize their orders with extra toppings and add-ons, manage their shopping cart, and complete the checkout process through an intuitive and responsive interface.
Beyond the customer experience, the platform includes administrative management capabilities for handling products, categories, orders, and restaurant operations. The project combines a modern frontend with backend services, database management, authentication, payment integration, and real-time functionality to create a scalable digital solution for online food ordering.
02 Challenge
One of the main challenges was designing a smooth ordering journey while supporting product customization, add-ons, cart management, and multiple order stages. The interface needed to provide customers with enough information to make decisions without making the ordering process confusing or unnecessarily complicated.
Another significant challenge was managing reliable payment processing and restaurant operations within the same platform. The system needed to handle payment responses correctly, maintain accurate order statuses, protect sensitive user information, and provide authorized administrators with the ability to manage products and operational data efficiently.
03 Solution
The solution was to develop a centralized full-stack platform that connects the customer ordering experience with restaurant management operations. The application provides a structured flow where customers can browse products, customize their selections, add items to the cart, enter delivery details, place orders, and securely complete payments through the integrated PayU payment gateway.
For restaurant management, a secure administrative system was implemented to manage products, categories, orders, availability, and other operational information. The application uses modern technologies and a modular architecture to keep the frontend, backend services, database operations, authentication, and payment processing organized, maintainable, and scalable for future improvements.
